Hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday weekend!  I apologize for not updating you sooner, but July 4th happens to be my birthday and I’ve been having a lovely time enjoying this excruciatingly hot weather-filled All-American summer!  Hope you have too!

July 10 & 11th    6th Annual African American Festival

As you can see from the Events page, David Pepper has already asked for all the help he can get at the Festival.  I received word from Andrew Wettle (UT College Dems) that Kevin Boyce, Ohio Treasurer of State, will be in town to celebrate the African-American Festival. He is a University of Toledo Alumni and has asked for people who would like to walk in the parade preceeding the festival along with him and his motorcade. If you are interested, feel free to let us know.  So this is a good way to support our Democratic candidates as well as the UT College Dems!

Also, David Pepper will be holding a Meet & Greet at Michaels Bar & Grill on Monroe Street at 1PM on July 10th.  To RSVP contact Gabrielle Seay at 614-397-7349 or gseay@ohiodems.org.  I’ll add an editors note and push for this one, because I think David Pepper has a lot of really interesting things to say, and you should hear what they are!

And don’t forget, the Lagrange Street Polish Festival is going on all weekend. Don your favorite campaign T-shirt and head down there.
