Community Action Meeting This Saturday!

On Saturday, April 28th, there is an open forum for local Democratic candidates who will be running in this year’s general election. The event starts at 4 p.m. and it’s taking place down at the party headquarters (1817 Madison Ave). This is a really good opportunity for us to speak with local candidates, so if you can make it, definitely go! We could learn a lot from the Campaign for Ohio team.

March 5 Toledo 3/5 Action: Targeting HD 6 Randy Gardner, 1:30 pm., AFSCME Ohio Council 8 Hall, 420 S Reynolds Rd. Toledo. Door to Door (weather permitting) or cell phone phone banks with press availability to talk to workers.
Democrats seeking candidate applications

The Lucas County Democratic Party is accepting applications from people interested in running for Toledo City Council and Toledo Municipal Court.
Party Chairman Ron Rothenbuhler said applications for City Council and municipal court may be obtained at party headquarters, 1817 Madison Ave., and must be returned by Feb. 28.
